For a long time, no grave of Sergeant Edward Morchonowicz was known until Mateusz Mroz (who also mapped Trochim’s final resting place) was able to prove that the body in grave 18A1 was that of Morchonowicz. A new stone bearing his name replaced the stone with ‘Unknown Polish Soldier’ in the summer of 2022.
